UTE Cup 2017
Aim of the BRISWA project is to re-examine racism and discrimination in sport, define it in a more concise way and promote a more thorough and active approach against it. The idea was the dissimination of it on the UTE Cup last weekwend in Budapest. There were more than 100 team, and more than 1500 people, from several countries, for example Serbia, Ukraine, Romania, Palestine, and of course a lot of team from several settlements in Hungary. There were eight category, from U7 to U15.
On the weekend, the children were playing with other players from different countries, and culture. We made interviews, where the children could say how they feel, about the cup, when they played against foreign children. Most people said, the football is not a place for racism, it’s a possibility for to build friendships and acquaintance. Here is some pictures, than you can see how many people were in UTE Cup, who saw our banner with the slogan: the Ball Rolls In the Same Way for All.
