The Ute Cup BRISWA joined the project, which is an excellent opportunity to the people, be of any nationality, religion or age, become familiar with each other's cultures in other countries.

Our project partner YFTD (Mr Markovic) has organized to have another public appearance of the BRISWA Project just as in the Voijvodina-Red Star match around one month ago. Thusday, on april 18th at 17:30, he will showcase the BRISWA project in occasion of the so called “Eternal derby” or “derby of Southeast Europe”, that is the local derby in Belgrade (Serbia) between fierce city rivals: Red Star Belgrade Vs Partizan Belgrade, two of the biggest and most popular sports societies in Serbia.

The aim of the BRISWA project is to re-examine racism and discrimination in sport, define it in a more concise way and promote a more thorough and active approach against it. We have chosen the VII. Rotary Running Festival to popularize our case, which was held on Sunday in Debrecen.

The Rotary Futófesztivál (‘Rotary Running Festival’) takes place in the city of Debrecen in eastern Hungary. The start and the finish are on II. János Pál pápa tér (Pope John Paul II Square) at the Nagyerdei park (Great Forest Park) on the northern edge of Debrecen.

In Serbian First League, before the match FK Vojvodina -  FK Crvena zvezda , one of the serbian derby, football players of both team and young players swear Briswa's t-shirt. The slogan was the Ball Rolls In the Same Way for All and this is the first BRISWA public event realized by the BRISWA Serbian's partner "Youth Football Tournament Doo", coordinated by Mr. Edvard Markovic. The day before, in each big screen all over the streets of Novi Sad, the project Has Been promoted as reported in the image below:

 

Nowadays, almost during every match we witness situations that see certain players of a team as targets of racist insults or worse, and the recent happenings in Serbia, in the match between Partizan and RAD is just the last example of a long queue of such events. The BRISWA project is an EU-funded project (funded by the ERASMUS+ PROGRAMME - SPORT COLLABORATIVE PARTNERSHIP - GA 2016 - 3060) dealing with the problem of racism in football (and in Sports in general), trying to spread the message of equality among races, genders, religions etc. among football players, especially youngsters, and hence ultimately trying to “kick” racism out of all kind of courts, fields, stadiums and so on.

Per promuovere un senso di appartenenza e di condivisione, secondo il progetto internazionale Briswa, la palla rotola nello stesso modo per tutti. Questo è il primo passo per evitare #racism.
La palla rotola per tutti allo stesso modo. Questa iniziativa è stata introdotta il Mercoledì alle Comune Di Monte Compatri (#Rome), dove si trova la squadra di calcio FC Academy: la squadra e altri sei partner, il sostegno della Commissione Europea grazie al programma Erasmus + Sport vogliono condividere un semplice messaggio: #SetRacismOffside.

 

 

To promote a common sense of affiliation and sharing, according to the international project Briswa, the Ball Rolls In the Same Way for All. This is the first step to avoid racism.

The ball rolls for everybody equally. This initiative has been introduced on Wednesday at Monte Compatri (Rome), where it is the Academy football club: the team and other six partners, the support of the European Commission thanks to the program Erasmus+sport want to share a simple message: set racism offside.

"There are no differences on the field. From our sport center we look beyond. We have a purpose: not to build walls but to demolish them", Marco De Carolis, mayor of Monte Compatri, affirmed during his intervention.
